Ground will be broken Wednesday for the second phase of a $1.6-million expansion to the Comprehensive Cancer Center of Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center.
Hospital officials say the expansion will add 9,800 square feet of space to the center with three developments, including a women’s imaging center dedicated to mammography, additional examination and treatment rooms for chemotherapy patients and a multipurpose community auditorium that will also provide space for support groups, community meetings and education programs.
