Falling somewhere between high-end collections and mass-market knockoffs, this year’s designer “bridge” lines stretch the envelope without stretching the bank account. Fabrics are functional; colors range from black through a palette of new neutrals (moss, peat, even claret). These are clothes to wear with no-nonsense accessories and--finally!--practical shoes.
