CAMARILLO : New Member Joins Rent Mediation Commission

The Camarillo City Council has appointed a new representative to a panel that mediates disputes between landlords and tenants.
William Reidy joins two other members of the public, one tenant representative and one landlord representative on the Camarillo Rent Review Commission.
The rent commission issues non-binding decisions to resolve complaints from tenants of apartment complexes and mobile-home parks.
The panel meets whenever tenants or landlords request a hearing, which is usually about once a year.
