No Holiday for Victim of Drunk Driver
* I want to write about the holiday season, the “lost holiday,” because this holiday I will be lost. And for many more to come. Last August my fiance was killed by a drunk driver.
During the holidays people tend to drink, act irresponsible and drive. I want to help put a stop to it. I would never want anyone to experience the death of a loved one. It is devastating. Words cannot describe the pain.
So, I am asking everyone during the holidays and every other time of the year: Please don’t drink and drive. Not even after one drink.
Be responsible. Do it for yourselves and the ones you love. Don’t take a chance. It could cost your life or someone else’s. Please have a safe and wonderful Christmas.
