Paramount : Santa Claus Making Final Train Stop of the Year
- Share via
For 25 years, Santa Claus has been coming to Paramount in a big red train, handing out apples and candy canes to residents, whether they’ve been naughty or nice.
All week the city’s annual Christmas train, which runs on streets and has rubber wheels, has been making its appointed rounds, stopping in every neighborhood to invite residents in for a quick visit with Santa.
The train makes its final trip of the season today. Each year, the city’s version of Old St. Nick gives away more than 25,000 apples and 25,000 candy canes, officials said.
