HUNTINGTON BEACH : Post Offices Collect Yule Gifts for Needy

Postal workers have placed containers in the lobbies of the city’s three post offices to collect Christmas toys, clothing and canned food for the needy.
Donations will be accepted from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Dec. 31.
Residents are urged to wrap gifts of toys for children 7 to 12 and designate the age and gender of the recipient.
The gifts will be distributed at the Huntington Youth Shelter, which will open soon, the Oak View Community Center and the Rescue Mission in Santa Ana.
