Georgian Guilty in American’s Killing

TBILISI, Georgia — A 21-year-old former Georgian soldier was found guilty and sentenced to 15 years in prison Monday for the murder of Fred Woodruff, reportedly the CIA’s station chief in Georgia.
Anzor Sharmaidze was sentenced to 15 years at hard labor, the maximum term under Georgian law.
Investigators believe the murder was random and not politically motivated.
