UCLA Wins Kilgour Cup Over Pepperdine

Junior All-American Jeff Nygaard had 36 kills and eight blocks to lead the top-ranked UCLA volleyball team to a 15-11, 15-4, 9-15, 15-3 victory Friday night over fifth-ranked Pepperdine in the 17th annual Kilgour Cup at Pauley Pavilion.
Senior Greg Shankel led the Waves with 29 kills.
The Bruins improved to 7-1, 5-0 in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation. Pepperdine is 5-2 and 3-1.
