Hunting Photo Also in Poor Taste

* It is sickening that cage-raised pheasants are released for a few moments of freedom only to be gunned down by a “hunter.”
But I find it much more sickening that The Times chose to run a full-color photo of a pheasant having its body blown to pieces by a shotgun blast from a “hunter” (“Pheasant Hunting by Prado Dam,” Feb. 8).
