PREP NOTES : Boys’ Soccer Coach at Canyon Resigns After Strong Season

Canyon boys’ soccer Coach Ali Khosroshahin, who led the Comanches to one of their best seasons, has resigned, the school announced Thursday.
Khosroshahin coached the Comanches for two seasons. He was named the Century League coach of the year after leading Canyon to the league championship this season.
The Comanches finished 16-6-3 and advanced to the second round of the Southern Section Division II playoffs.

University High’s James Stephenson, a two-time Sea View League champion in wrestling and a Southern Section runner-up this year with a record of 49-6 at 145 pounds, will attend Columbia University with the intention of wrestling at the school.
