40 Men Arrested in Sex Solicitation Sting Operation

COSTA MESA — Forty men were arrested after soliciting undercover female police officers for sex in a prostitution sting on Harbor Boulevard between Gisler Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard, police said.
The area was targeted Thursday night after complaints from local merchants and residents, police said. The sting, which lasted from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m., was the result of a monthlong investigation by the department’s narcotics and vice unit.
