Fremont 22, Belmont 7--Michael Adams returned the opening kickoff 92 yards and scored on a 95-yard pass to lead the Pathfinders to a nonleague victory over the Sentinels at Fremont.
Fremont was led by quarterback Robert Lorea, who completed four of seven passes for 115 yards and a touchdown, and running back Daron Owens, who rushed for 57 yards and a touchdown in nine carries.
Belmont was led by quarterback Marvin Gomez, who completed nine of 22 passes for 170 yards and a touchdown.
