Creative Computer Reports Profit Gain in 2nd Quarter

Creative Computer Applications Inc., a Calabasas provider of information systems for health-related concerns, said its profit in the second fiscal quarter that ended Feb. 28 was $139,914, compared with a loss of $194,393 in the same quarter a year earlier.

The turnaround was on a 69% surge in sales to $1.69 million for the quarter, compared with $1 million a year earlier.

For the first six months of the company’s fiscal year, Creative Computer’s profit was $327,050, compared with a loss of $375,295 in the first six months of last year. Sales for the six months were $3.46 million, up 65% from $2.10 million in the year-earlier period.
