Anaheim Stadium Gets Baseball Title Games

The Southern Section baseball championship games will return to Anaheim Stadium this season, with four division titles to be decided on Saturday, June 3.
The section had to wait until the baseball strike ended and Dodger and Angel schedules were set before securing the date. Last year’s playoffs were held at Long Beach’s Blair Field and Cal State Fullerton.
The day’s first pitch at Anaheim will take place at 10 a.m. in the Division IV championship game. The Division III final will be played at 1 p.m., followed by the Division II game at 4:30 and the Division I final at 7:30.
The Division V and VI championship games will be at Blair Field on Friday, June 2, with the Division VI game at 4:30 p.m. and the Division V game at 7:30.
The Division I semifinals will be played as a doubleheader on May 30 at Blair Field.
