COLUMBIA, Mo. — Lee Hills, former chief executive of the Knight-Ridder newspaper group, will give the University of Missouri $1.1 million to establish an endowed chair in journalism. Hills announced the gift Tuesday during dedication ceremonies for a new journalism building named for him.
