Edison: Suggestion to Resolve Redondo Feud

Currently in the news is an inspiring example of England and Ireland, both North and South, conducting open, honest discussions to resolve their bitter centuries-old differences. Particularly of interest is their agreement that the proposals of all principals will only be a framework for discussion, not a blueprint to be imposed on any of the participants. Eventual agreement must be supported by all parties concerned.
It is with this in mind I suggest that the top Redondo Beach officials and Edison Co.’s highest executives meet and initiate open, honest, constructive discussions to attempt resolution of decades of unresolved conflict.
These are very important concerns of all Redondo Beach residents that will not go away or be swept under a bureaucratic rug. What can be discussed can be understood and improved.
