Evans Community Adult is offering classes Saturdays to prepare students for the Immigration and Naturalization Service citizenship examination.
The classes help those applying for U.S. citizenship with the English and civics portion of the exam. Classes are free, and include the required photographs and fingerprints for a citizenship application. Classes are held from 7:45 a.m. to noon. A 12-hour class is also offered weekdays and weeknights through the school’s Citizen Outreach Program.
Students are asked to bring their green cards and Social Security cards to register. Program staff members speak Spanish, Cantonese and Mandarin.
