THOUSAND OAKS : Library Seeks Vendors for Holiday Crafts Fair

The Thousand Oaks Library system is accepting applications until Aug. 31 for its 1995 holiday crafts fair. The annual event will be held at the Newbury Park Library branch for the first time, due to construction at the Thousand Oaks Library branch.
Fair coordinator Cindy Smith said vendors interested in buying a booth should submit an application with a $50 check payable to the Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library and five photographs of their crafts to the Thousand Oaks Library at 2400 Willow Lane in Thousand Oaks.
There are 48 booths available in the meeting room, lobby and front walk area of the Newbury Park branch, and those selected will be notified in September. Artisans at the fair typically sell ceramics, pottery, jewelry, clothing and handmade crafts.
Applications are available at both libraries. Smith said the fair raises money for library materials through the booth fees. Vendors do not have to pay a commission.
The fair is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 18 at 2331 Borchard Road in Newbury Park. For more information, call 497-6282, Ext. 203.
