ROLLER HOCKEY : Bullfrogs Beat Blades Again

For the fourth time this season, the Los Angeles Blades could not figure out the Anaheim Bullfrogs’ defense, dropping a 6-4 roller hockey decision Saturday night in front of 5,467 at the Forum.
The Blades could not come up with enough offense, despite out-shooting Anaheim, 53-35, and getting three goals from forward Andy Akervik. Six Bullfrogs scored en route to their league-leading 19th victory of the season.
The Blades (8-10-4) played better than they had in three previous losses to Anaheim, particularly in the second period when the Blades outshot the Bullfrogs, 14-6, and in the final period when Anaheim (19-2-1) went scoreless and Los Angeles had some of its best scoring chances.
Neither team played its cleanest with the Bullfrogs totaling 13 penalties to the Blades’ 10.
