The Seattle Seahawks opened their exhibition season under Dennis Erickson with a 34-20 victory over the St. Louis Rams at Seattle on Saturday night.
The transplanted Rams, who were moved by owner Georgia Frontiere after 49 seasons in Southern California, lost starting quarterback Chris Miller because of a concussion when he was kneed in the helmet during the first quarter. The 1991 Pro Bowl selection suffered three concussions last season and has sat out 24 of 48 games since 1991 because of injuries.
