VENTURA — Richard Webster of Camarillo earned his fourth Mini Stock victory Saturday night at Ventura Raceway in a 20-lap feature race that was delayed at the halfway mark by a crash that sent a driver to the hospital.
Don Clark of Riverside was transported to Ventura County Medical Center after the accident and his condition was not immediately known. Clark’s car flipped in the backstretch and a car driven by Cliff Tietz of Camarillo landed atop Clark’s vehicle.
In the Pony Stock main, Jim Jewett Jr. of Oxnard earned his third victory, with David Rhodes of Ventura second. James Brown of Ventura was third.
Rob Hansen of Simi Valley won the 20-lap Dwarf Car feature, while Tom Stansberry of Tehachapi won the trophy dash.
