Charles Schleussner, 79, Westside real estate broker and philanthropist. A native of New York, Schleussner attended the Cate School in Los Angeles and UC Berkeley. He raised horses for a time and was an assistant director at 20th Century Fox before turning to real estate and setting up his company, Charles Realty. Once the owner of Westwood Towers on Wilshire Boulevard, Schleussner sold properties in Beverly Hills, Bel-Air, Holmby Hills and Brentwood, catering to wealthy Hollywood and business people. Among his recent show business clients were his daughter, Cathy, and son-in-law, Robert Schlitt, writer and producer of such television shows as “Father Dowling Mysteries” and “Matlock.” On Sept. 1 in Beverly Hills.
