Van Nuys 21, Palisades 14--Junior cornerback Robert Blanco intercepted a pass with 1:55 left to preserve a comeback victory for the Wolves at home.
Junior quarterback Robert Williamson threw three touchdown passes and passed for 183 yards to lead Van Nuys. Marcus Alcorn caught two of the touchdown passes. John McPherson rushed for 75 yards in 15 carries.
Palisades quarterback Kris Hawks completed seven of 18 for 97 yards and a touchdown.
Van Nuys did not get a first down until midway through the second quarter. Palisades fumbled twice and threw three interceptions.
The teams combined for 150 yards in penalties.
