Coach: Don Stoll (15th year).
1994: 17-11 overall, 3-2 in the Sea View League; lost to Long Beach Wilson, 10-7, in the second round of the Division I playoffs.
Key returners: Keith Capielo, two-meter man, Sr.; Brian Ealy, driver, Sr.; Shane Lindstrom, two-meter man, Sr.; Greg Stoll, goalkeeper, Sr.; Mark Tilton, driver, Jr.; Matt Sakatani, driver, Jr.; Shaun Souza, driver, Jr.
Key newcomers: Torey Carrick, driver, Sr.; John Han, two-meter defender, Jr.; Shane Maag, driver, Sr.; Neal McCann, utility, Sr.; Kevin Wood, goalkeeper, Sr.
Outlook: El Toro’s 23-game playoff winning streak was ended in the second round last season, but only after the Chargers gave eventual champion Long Beach Wilson quite a battle. Now they appear ready to again challenge for a championship, which would be their sixth in eight seasons. Don Stoll says his team made significant improvements over the summer. Three juniors--Tilton, Sakatani and Souza--are the most skilled players, but the Chargers are also very deep in seniors and, of course, Greg Stoll is outstanding in goal.
