VENTURA : Motorist, 26, Killed in Freeway Accident

A Santa Barbara man died when he lost control of his car on the Ventura Freeway near Faria, the California Highway Patrol said.
Keith Brown, 26, was pronounced dead late Tuesday night at the Ventura County Medical Center shortly after the accident, coroner officials said.
Brown was traveling southbound in the passing lane of the freeway when he apparently lost control of his car, CHP officials said. The car fishtailed, hit the center median and rolled about three times before coming to rest upside down in the northbound lanes.
Brown, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown about 70 feet from the car, officials said. No one else was injured.
