Quality Systems Inc.: The Tustin developer and provider of computer-based management systems for medical and dental group practices said net income for the second fiscal quarter rose to $527,800, or 12 cents a share, from $185,100, or 4 cents a share, for the same quarter last year. Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 increased 50% to a record $4.2 million from $2.8 million. For the first half, the company posted net income of $1.1 million, or 23 cents a share, up from $385,500, or 8 cents a share, for the corresponding six months a year ago. Revenue gained 36% to $8 million from $5.9 million.
