Dana Hills 3, Esperanza 0--Jami Bari had 22 kills and 12 digs to lead Dana Hills (11-6), 15-8, 15-4, 15-10.
Huntington Beach 3, Redondo Beach 0--Melissa Wendt had nine kills in the 15-5, 15-0, 15-7 victory for top-ranked Huntington Beach (18-0).
Mater Dei 3, Westlake Village Westlake 0--Ami Orr had 10 kills for Mater Dei (19-2), which beat Westlake, 15-4, 15-5, 15-3.
Newport Harbor 3, Simi Valley Royal 0--Julie Hecker had nine kills and nine digs for host Newport Harbor, which won, 15-6, 15-3, 16-14. Newport Harbor (12-5), the defending Division I section and state champion, will play Huntington Beach in the quarterfinals.
San Clemente 3, University 1--Wendy Wilkins had 13 kills for San Clemente (14-3). Kate Metzger added nine kills and seven aces in the 15-1, 15-3, 13-15, 15-4 victory.
