Robbers Strike in Thousand Oaks, Camarillo

Two separate armed robberies occurred Monday night in Thousand Oaks and in Camarillo.
At 7 p.m., a Thousand Oaks resident was robbed of his watch while he was in his garage in the 5500 block of Grey Feather Court, said Ventura County Sheriff’s Lt. Gary Cook. The suspect, who displayed a gun, fled.
At 7:15 p.m., a Texaco gas station at Carmen and Daily drives in Camarillo was robbed of an unknown amount of money, Cook said. A gun was not seen in the robbery.
Investigations of both robberies were continuing, Cook said.
