EL MODENA : 25-Year-Old Arrested in Molestation of Boy

A man has been arrested on suspicion of molesting a 7-year-old neighbor, and investigators said there may be other victims.
Authorities said Monday that the boy was lured into a home on Earlham Street from 2 to 3 p.m. last Friday by a man offering to fix his bicycle. The boy ran home and told his parents he had been fondled, Sheriff’s Lt. Ron Wilkerson said. “Our sex crime investigators went to his home and were able to find enough evidence to arrest the man,” he said.
James Lee Jenks, 25, of El Modena was being held at Orange County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Municipal Court in Santa Ana today.
Wilkerson said investigators are checking whether the same ruse was used to molest other children. Deputies are asking anyone with information about the suspect to call (714) 647-7419.
