Valleywide : Bank Collecting Food, New Toys for Needy

Non-perishable food and unwrapped new toys are being collected for local charities at TransWorld Bank offices around the San Fernando Valley.
The bank’s branch offices in Canyon Country, Chatsworth, Granada Hills, North Hollywood, Northridge, Pacoima, San Fernando, Sherman Oaks, Thousand Oaks and Woodland Hills, among others, will accept contributions throughout the holiday season to be delivered to charities for distribution to needy children and families in Los Angeles and Ventura counties.
Charities benefited by TransWorld Bank’s food and toys collection include the U.S. Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program, the Los Angeles and San Fernando police departments’ Christmas basket programs, Haven Hills’ battered women and abused children shelter and the Salvation Army.
