PLACENTIA : Model Ship Replicas on Exhibit at Library

A fleet of museum-quality model ships is on display through December at the Placentia Library. The miniature replicas, which include the African Queen, the Royal Caroline and the Beagle, were built by the Placentia Ship Modelers Assn. of Southern California.
The library, at 411 E. Chapman Ave., is open Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from noon to 8 p.m.; Thursdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m.
