SEASON AT A GLANCE: Coben, a swing hitter, helped the Wolverines win the Mission League and Southern Section Division II championships. A precision passer who ranks among team leaders in kills and digs, Coben is synonymous with consistency. “She’s steady and strong for us,” Coach Jess Quiroz said. “She was really doing her part and then some.”
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Coben had 12 kills, 12 digs, six aces and 34 service receptions in Harvard-Westlake’s championship victory over Bishop Montgomery. In a semifinal sweep of Long Beach Wilson, Coben had eight kills and eight digs. Said Quiroz: “She played steady all the way through in every aspect.”
