CAMARILLO : Fire Causes $22,500 in Damage to Home

A child playing with fire set off a blaze causing $22,500 in damage to a Camarillo home, authorities said.
The structure fire in the 2800 block of Redondo Avenue began at 10:17 p.m. Saturday, a Ventura County Fire Department spokeswoman said.
Firefighters had the blaze under control by 11:43 p.m.
Authorities estimated the damage at $20,000 to the house and $2,500 to contents. No one was injured.
