Cimco Inc. Posts $196,000 Profit

COSTA MESA — Cimco Inc., manufacturer of plastic components, reported profit of $196,000, or 7 cents a share, for the second fiscal quarter ended Oct. 31, contrasted with a net loss of $542,000, or 18 cents a share, for the prior-year period. Sales increased 47% to $29.9 million from $20.3 million.

For the first half, the company recorded a net loss of $203,000, or 7 cents a share, compared with a year-earlier net loss of $1.1 million, or 37 cents a share. Sales were up 43% to $55.1 million from $38.5 million.
