West Hills : Slavkin to Lead Talk on Education

Mark Slavkin, president of the Los Angeles Unified School District’s Board of Education, will hold a town meeting in West Hills Wednesday to discuss matters involving education.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at Justice Street School, 23350 Justice St. Members of the community have been invited to join the discussion.
Slavkin said in a statement that he will discuss “reforms the school district has recently undertaken and . . . the ways in which the school district is returning control to the local school site.”
Slavkin represents the west San Fernando Valley, including the communities of West Hills, Woodland Hills, Chatsworth, Canoga Park and Northridge.
