28 Die in Peru Bus Plunge

LIMA, Peru — A bus swerved and plunged into a river between the towns of La Oroya and Huancayo in Peru’s remote central highlands over the weekend, killing 28 passengers, authorities said Monday. They said the victims were mainly university students and traders from the provincial capital of Huancayo.
