New Fox Schedule: The Fox network on Tuesday announced its mid-season schedule, which will include four new series. Two new Sunday night comedies will premiere on March 17: “The Show,” about a white man working as head writer for a black comedy series, and “Local Heroes,” about four twentysomething male friends. Then on April 2, the network will debut Aaron Spelling’s new vampire drama, “Kindred: The Embraced,” which moves into its regular Wednesday night time slot on April 3. The final new show, “Profit,” a Monday night drama about the corporate moves of a rising business world star, premieres April 8. To accommodate the new shows, Fox will move “Martin” back to its old Thursday 8:30 p.m. time slot and discontinue showing “Married . . . With Children” repeats. In addition, the Wednesday night drama “Party of Five” and the Monday comedies “Ned and Stacey” and “Partners” will conclude their season runs; the network will decide on series renewals in May.
