Man Claiming to Have Gun Robs Bank

A man who claimed to have a gun robbed the Ventura County National Bank at 4730 Telephone Road in Ventura on Wednesday, authorities said.
According to the FBI, the man approached a teller shortly after noon and demanded money. Although he never showed a weapon, he told the teller that he had a gun, Special Agent Larry Dick said.
The man, who escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash, was last seen running north through a shopping center adjacent to the bank, Dick said.
The suspect is described as a Latino in his late 20s, about 5-foot-8 and weighing about 150 pounds.
He was wearing gray sweat pants, a gray sweatshirt and a teal baseball hat, Dick said.
