MALIBU — A 30-year-old transient pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges that he fatally stabbed a fellow homeless man in Agoura.
David Alan Metcalf entered his plea in Malibu Municipal Court, a court clerk said. He is charged with killing Paul Edwards, 40, and allegedly leaving the body in a shack in the 2700 block of Triunfo Canyon Road, which was previously used to house llamas.
Edwards’ body was found Feb. 11 and Metcalf was arrested in Thousand Oaks later that day.
