In a Securities and Exchange Commission filing, RJR Nabisco Holdings, parent of RJ Reynolds Tobacco, said there were 144 active smoking-related lawsuits pending against the unit or its affiliates. . . . Lockheed Martin said it will pay a special 5-cent-a-share dividend for three consecutive quarters to settle litigation with shareholders.
