Los Angeles County Dist. Atty. Gil Garcetti will administer the oath of office to Encino businessman Chris Hamilton, the new president of the Encino Chamber of Commerce, tonight at the chamber’s installation dinner-dance, according to chamber Chief Executive Officer Jan Sobel.
The dinner, which also marks the chamber’s 60th anniversary, will honor 17 past presidents, all of whom will be attending tonight’s event.
Phil Hartman, a star on the television series “News Radio” and formerly of “Saturday Night Live,” will introduce Garcetti and the honorees. Actor-comedian Ronnie Schell, who played roles on the television shows “Gomer Pyle” and “That Girl,” will be the evening’s master of ceremonies.
Hamilton is a partner in the Encino accounting firm Hamilton Boynton & Speakman, and in the management and technology consulting company Information Technology Group Inc.
The dinner-dance will begin at 7 p.m. at the Sportsmen’s Lodge, 12825 Ventura Blvd. in Studio City.
