Kids Pick Grammy Nominees: We won’t know until tonight whether “Waterfalls,” TLC’s critically lauded song about a mother’s concert for her children, will win a Grammy as record of the year, but teens across the country have already picked the hip-hop group’s ballad as “the song that best represents their generation.” In a national Scholastic Inc. survey of more than 20,000 students in the sixth through ninth grades, “Waterfalls” was closely followed by another record of the year nominee, Coolio’s “Gangsta Paradise.”
