Police described the man as a Latino about 30 years old, 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds, with short black hair. He was wearing a plaid vest with a purple hood.
According to Fullerton Lt. Jeff Roop, the man walked into the Home Savings and Loan in the 1100 block of South Harbor Boulevard about 11:25 a.m. and handed a teller a note stating he had a gun and wanted cash. No gun was seen, Roop said.
