Proposition 203, the $3-billion bond measure for the state’s public schools, colleges and universities, is the topic of a debate today at Cal State Fullerton.
Debate panelists include proponent James A. Fleming, superintendent of Capistrano Unified School District, and opponent Jack Dean, the Libertarian candidate for the 39th Congressional District.
Voters will decide the fate of the proposition March 26 in a statewide ballot. Should the measure pass, school districts across California would receive money for new buildings, modernization and seismic retrofitting projects and other capital improvements.
The debate will be at 6:30 p.m. in the University Center Portola Pavilion B.
