To Catch a ‘Wiper,’ Go to Corona Lake

Corona Lake is the place to catch a “wiper.” Actually, it’s the only place to catch a wiper, the name given hybrid striped bass stocked in the small reservoir alongside Interstate 15.
The fish possess characteristics of white bass and striped bass, and thus are voracious and strong. And in the past week they have been providing almost instant hookups for anglers using white Roostertail lures in the middle of the lake.
