Allen, from Dominguez High, made a big impact as Saddleback won twice to earn a berth in the state tournament. Allen, who can play only short periods of time because of asthma, scored 16 points and 11 rebounds in a victory over San Diego Mesa. She had 16 points and six rebounds in a victory over Los Angeles Harbor. She is averaging 10 points and seven rebounds for the season.
