Panel to Discuss Valley Transit Issues

Robert Scott, Sherman Oaks attorney and president of the Los Angeles Planning Commission, will discuss the city’s plans to revitalize Ventura Boulevard and the east San Fernando Valley Wednesday at a monthly meeting of the Sherman Oaks Homeowners Assn.
Also scheduled to attend are representatives of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, who will discuss the MTA’s timetable for extending Metro Rail into the Valley and the route it will take, according to Richard Close, homeowners association president.
The meeting will begin at 8 p.m. at Glendale Federal Bank, 13300 Ventura Blvd.
