Victim of March 1 Auto Accident Dies

A man injured in a four-vehicle accident March 1 died Monday at UCI Medical Center in Orange of head and chest injuries, police said.
Daniel Estrada, 45, of Santa Ana was hurt when he rear-ended a truck that was waiting to turn into a parking lot at 5th and Susan streets, police Sgt. Dick Faust said.
The truck was propelled into oncoming traffic. It collided with a van, which hit another vehicle traveling in the same direction, Faust said.
Only Estrada suffered major injuries. Police said he was wearing a seat belt and was driving alone.
