Local Man Held in Grocery Store Holdup

Police have arrested a Santa Paula man on suspicion of robbing a local grocery store, authorities said.
Police say David Garcia, 22, robbed La Cuebita on South 8th Street at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, holding his arm out of sight below the counter top so the teller believed he had a gun.
An hour later, witnesses allegedly recognized Garcia as he walked in town and alerted police. Garcia was arrested and booked into the Ventura County Jail, police said.
