Please Don’t Forget Canfield Elementary

I am very disappointed that the profile of Beverlywood (“Westside Oasis,” March 10) mentions that there are two schools in the community, but only mentions one: Castle Heights Elementary School. Canfield Elementary should have had equal billing.
I am the parent of two children, ages 7 and 10. I have one child at Castle Heights and the other one at Canfield.
Both schools are excellent, with very active parent and community groups that consist of classroom volunteers to “Friends” of each school, which is similar to a P.T.A. The principals, teachers and support staff are excellent at both schools, and they work together as a team to enhance the educational process.
